A military Telegram channel criticized the absence of anti-drone domes in frontline regions

Of the measures President Volodymyr Zelensky promised six months ago to strengthen protection against drones in frontline regions, “practically f**k all” has been done.

This was stated by the Ukrainian military Telegram channel Mykolaivskyi Vanek after yesterday’s shelling of Kherson and Nikopol, where a total of seven people were killed.

According to the channel, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces prepared a project for creating anti-drone domes, it was approved at the top and sent down for implementation, but after that “some started spitting on it, others did f**k all.” This despite the fact that “there is even funding for all of this.”

“The result is visible: the open passageway in Chernihiv region has not gone anywhere, the terror of minibuses in Nikopol, 24/7 drone activity in Kherson, and so on,” Vanek wrote.

The channel’s authors asked who is actually responsible for implementing such domes.

A resident of Kherson also recalled the authorities’ promise to create anti-drone domes in a video address. According to her, 700 drones hit the city in a single day recently — and that does not include guided aerial bombs and other munitions. She called for Kherson’s protection to be strengthened and asked why this still has not been done.
