Razumkov explained how Zelensky will get 102% in the elections during the war
21.04.2025 18:01Some media personalities in Ukraine are reportedly taking 20% commissions from donation drives they promote.
This information reported according to Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran Ruslana Danylkyina (known as Sima), who shared her experience on TikTok.
“People aren’t donating anymore. I get calls saying, ‘Ruslana, can you support this fundraiser? You’ll get 20%, you know how it works.’ And I just froze. I thought, seriously? Is that how things work now? I felt disgusted,” said the veteran, who lost a leg in the war.
Earlier, we reported that MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, from the European Solidarity party, published a series of posts essentially accusing volunteer Serhiy Sternenko of misusing donations intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the lawmaker, Sternenko raised over a billion hryvnias in donations since 2022, but only established a formal fund in 2025.
As Bloomberg previously reported, charitable organizations in Ukraine are seeing a sharp decline in donations for the military.
