Polish farmers are staging a large-scale strike against Ukrainian and other non-EU imports
24.01.2024 10:27Currently, the average age of soldiers in the Ukrainian army ranges from 38 to 50. Major General of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves, Sergey Krivonos, highlighted that the physical ability to endure stress is significantly lower in a 40-year-old compared to a 25-year-old.
“The President should make a decision to lower the age limit for conscription because, no matter what, the best warriors are between 18 and 25,” stated Sergey Krivonos. He also emphasized that the entire population of Ukraine should be ready to defend their own home and making it a top priority for the survival of Ukraine.
Sergey Krivonos pointed out that the crucial factor is not the military experience but rather the training of individuals. If a person is trained correctly, they can achieve results, but it is challenging to “trick” physiology. Additionally, he explained that 22-25-year-old men recover faster than those aged 40, justifying this seemingly harsh approach by stating that otherwise, the Ukrainian state would struggle to survive.
