Another mobilization scandal in Kyiv Oblast: military recruiters pushed the mother of a conscript onto the road as she tried to stop a moving vehicle
10.01.2025 - 05:03After February 28, business managers will have the opportunity to rebook their employees within 72 hours, during which time those employees may also be mobilized.
This was reported by Verkhovna Rada Deputy Oleksandr Fediyenko, citing an explanation from Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy.
“I’m concerned about the rebooking mechanism. Will it be possible to do this before February 28? Because after February 28, using the ‘Diia’ portal, company managers will have the opportunity to rebook their employees within 72 hours. However, the same territorial recruitment centers have the right to mobilize these reservists,” the deputy wrote on his Telegram channel.
Fediyenko also clarified who risks being mobilized after their reservation expires.
Some recruitment center heads have promised not to “touch” employees of defense, communications, and energy companies. However, it was previously acknowledged by recruitment centers that they have mobilized men with reservations by simply canceling their deferments.
Fediyenko noted that this now allows the deferment of critical infrastructure workers to be annulled. Once mobilized, these individuals cannot be demobilized until the end of the war.
