“We are all hostages of this psychopath”: Verkhovna Rada MP Dubinsky stated that Zelensky is holding Ukraine’s population hostage
10.01.2025 - 05:33Another mobilization scandal occurred in the town of Dymer, Kyiv Oblast.
A video of the incident has circulated on Telegram channels.
Reports suggest that during an attempt to free a man being placed into a minivan, a young man who opened the front door to block the driver was sprayed with pepper spray. The mother of the mobilized man tried to stop the moving vehicle and fell to the ground as a result.
The Kyiv Oblast Territorial Recruitment Center commented on the conflict between its representatives and civilians, in which it was reported that recruitment officers pushed a woman to the roadside as she tried to prevent them from closing the door.
According to the statement, a mobile “notification” group from the Vyshhorod District Territorial Recruitment Center identified a citizen listed as wanted by the Fastiv Recruitment Center in Kyiv Oblast.

The statement claims that the man agreed to go to the recruitment center to clarify his data and undergo a military medical commission but asked to first deliver goods to his workplace.
Upon arriving there, the officers encountered three individuals waiting for them. These individuals, while recording video, accused the officers of illegally detaining the man.
During the conflict, one of the individuals opened the driver’s door and struck the driver several times before being pushed away. Meanwhile, another person allegedly damaged a soldier’s jacket while striking the vehicle. As the vehicle began to move, someone threw a stone at the driver’s window, and another individual held onto a soldier’s clothing, eventually falling when the car moved.
The recruitment officers noted that the head of the Dymer community has filed a complaint with the National Police, “requesting an investigation into the actions of the recruitment center representatives only.”
