This was stated by Leonid Kosyanchuk, former president of the Association “Union of Operators of the Petroleum Products Market of Ukraine.”

“The transport exists, but there is no one to drive it… Another part of the drivers simply scattered so they would not be ‘busified.’ There are not that many drivers in Ukraine who can operate this kind of transport. At present, this is a major problem, and the question is how we are going to get out of this situation,” Kosyanchuk said.

Earlier, the founder of the Prime group of companies said that mobilization had triggered a transport crisis in Ukraine.

Before that, the deputy minister for communities and territories development reported that Ukraine is facing an acute shortage of truck drivers.
