Border guards have noticed that escapees from Ukraine are increasingly daring in storming the border

Ukrainian men are increasingly making bold attempts to storm the western border daily.

This information reported according to Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

“Unfortunately, these attempts continue, and we record such individuals every day. It is not appropriate to call them draft dodgers; they are primarily border violators,” he said.

According to Demchenko, some of these men are even under 25 and not subject to mobilization but are still prohibited from leaving the country. He also mentioned that recently, Ukrainian border guards have noticed changes in the tactics of organizers facilitating men’s illegal exit from the country.

“In recent times, we have observed an increase in the audacity of the actions of organizers of these criminal groups who promise assistance in illegal border crossing. More frequently, we detect larger groups attempting to cross the border simultaneously. For instance, yesterday evening in the Odessa region, our border patrol detained a truck in whose trailer they found 41 individuals attempting to reach the border in this manner. The vehicle was detained several kilometers from the border,” added Demchenko.
