Since the beginning of the war, more than 30,000 Ukrainians have illegally entered Moldova
09.06.2024 15:24On Friday, June 8, in Chernivtsi, representatives of the territorial recruitment center “mobilized” a 21-year-old man. His lawyer reported that he was taken and transported “in the trunk” to the city military commissariat.
This information was shared by the lawyer on Instagram.
According to the lawyer, the city military commissariat refused to provide any explanations, and it is currently unclear where the man is. Attempts to find him in nearby training centers have been unsuccessful. The lawyer stated that she is being treated rudely and insulted at the territorial recruitment center. In the comments, it is mentioned that beatings and cruel treatment are practiced at this commissariat.
It is worth noting that the mobilization age in Ukraine starts at 25. Previously, military commissars and representatives of the Ministry of Defense ignored a summons to the Rada regarding mobilization violations.
It was recently reported that military commissars cannot detain and deliver Ukrainians to the territorial recruitment centers without police involvement. The police have the right to detain a person for delivery to the territorial recruitment center only if they violate military registration rules.

Additionally, an MP stated that employees of the territorial recruitment centers have the right to use force if a person refuses to comply with their mobilization demands.
