Consequences of mobilization: migrants from Asia and Africa are being attracted to construction sites in Ukraine due to a shortage of workers

Due to illegal mobilization in Ukraine, the shortage of men in construction organizations has reached 40%, prompting developers to hire migrants from other countries.

This was reported by Forbes.

Workers are being hired from Pakistan, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, and African countries for construction projects.

Over the past two years, the number of officially registered workers in the construction sector has decreased by 25.4%, to nearly 300,000 people, according to data from the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine.

Overall, 74% of companies in Ukraine are experiencing a labor shortage, compared to 55% last fall.
