11.06.2026 07:32The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the Russian president, Kirill Dmitriev, said he plans to hold a three-way meeting with U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and U.S. president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner before the end of June.
He made the announcement in an interview with Berliner Zeitung.
According to Dmitriev, he has already spoken with the American negotiators multiple times during the current week. He declined to name a specific date for the meeting.
“We are in constant contact. We have spoken multiple times this week and expect that something will ultimately happen. I would not want to name specific dates, but the meeting will be in June,” Dmitriev said.
On June 8, Witkoff and Kushner held a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Prior to that, they had a phone conversation with the head of the RDIF. An upcoming visit by the American negotiators to Moscow was announced by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
The previous visit by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Russia took place at the end of January.
