‘We get along great with Putin’: Trump once again promised to end the war in Ukraine ‘very quickly’
January 16, 2024The European Union has initiated an audit of arms deliveries to Ukraine by European countries since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
This information reported by the Financial Times, citing sources.
The audit is being conducted by the European External Action Service (EEAS), and it aims to present its findings to the countries by February 1.
The audit will rely on materials provided by the countries themselves. Some countries have reportedly started resisting, unwilling to disclose complete data. This investigation was launched following complaints that some countries did not send as much weaponry to Ukraine as they could have. Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz recently mentioned this concern.
Last week, it was reported that Germany had not conducted any checks on how German weapons were being used in Ukraine. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the Pentagon released a report stating that military aid to Ukraine was poorly tracked and controlled.
