This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
According to law enforcement, the arson attacks were carried out by a 35-year-old former convict from Kherson, who was recruited by Russian special services during the occupation. He involved his partner, a 25-year-old man from Kherson, and a 30-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia, both of whom had previous legal issues.

It is worth noting that within a week, the police detained seven people involved in setting fire to military vehicles and relay cabinets.
Among those detained were the organizer of the criminal group, a foreigner, and three minors who agreed to cooperate with the Russians for money.
Additionally, it was reported that in Kyiv, a 16-year-old boy was detained on suspicion of setting fire to military vehicles.
According to the investigation, the teenager was recruited through online groups where he was looking for easy money.
Law enforcement officials noted that the Russian handler told his subordinate that it was not necessary to verify the affiliation of the vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and that any cars resembling military vehicles could be targeted.
