‘The West will play with double standards on Ukraine and Gaza until it fully isolates itself’, – Former President of Turkey said
March 4, 2024Poland may officially block its borders if the EU and Ukraine do not make concessions regarding grain
March 4, 2024During a public appearance, the former president, now Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, displayed a map of Ukraine divided among neighboring countries. He also stated that Ukraine is Russia.
On the map, the entire southwest, including Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro and many other cities in the central part of present-day Ukraine, are marked as part of Russia. Zakarpattia Oblast is given to Hungary. Chernivtsi and Vinnytsia are handed over to Romania. The entire western Ukraine, including Lviv, and part of the central region, will come under Polish control. An independent Ukraine will remain within the boundaries of the capital Kyiv and its region.
It is noteworthy that Medvedev is addressing his fellow citizens, but the markings on the map are all in English. This could be a public proposal to Ukraine’s neighbors regarding division options. So far, all countries except Russia have rejected such a proposal, but some politicians in Poland, Hungary and Romania support expanding their countries at the expense of Ukrainian regions.
