Former President of Russia Medvedev showed a map of Ukraine’s division
March 4, 2024Former Turkish President Abdullah Gül criticized the US and its allies for their “dangerous game” with their “hypocritical double standards” towards Israel and Russia.
“When it comes to Ukraine, they talk about territorial integrity, human rights, killing civilians, claiming that Russia is violating international law. But at the same time, when Israel kills a large number of civilians in Gaza in a short period of time, the US vetoed the ceasefire [in the UN Security Council],” Gül noted.
“Many nations and countries in the world feel more sympathetic to authoritarian regimes due to the blind support of Israel by the West,” the former Turkish president believes.
In his opinion, “if and when” necessary, instead of the US, countries from the Middle East, many Muslim countries, African countries, and many movements in Europe may stand on the side of China and Russia.
