Germany has acknowledged the authenticity of audio recordings of German military personnel discussing “Taurus” missiles. Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz commented on the situation, stating that the case is “very serious” and will be swiftly investigated.
In the audio, officers discussed how the missiles could be used in Ukraine if Berlin decides to supply them. In particular, details of a strike on the Crimean Bridge were discussed.

Recall that the day before, in Russia, a purported textual transcript of a conversation among high-ranking officers of the German Bundeswehr about the prospect of sending long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine was published.
The German Ministry of Defense has initiated an investigation into the leak of the conversation about the use of Taurus missiles in Ukraine. Earlier, Der Spiegel magazine reported on the authenticity of the audio recording of the conversation among Bundeswehr officers about the attack on the Crimean Bridge.
