Russian military forces have encircled the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region, trapping hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers.

The article states that evacuation routes from Vuhledar to the southern outskirts of the front have been blocked. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are running out of food, ammunition, and fuel, while Russian forces continue to attack the city from three sides.

According to a source within the Ukrainian military, it has become too dangerous for Defense Forces’ armored personnel carriers to reach the front positions in Vuhledar due to Russian artillery strikes and drone attacks.

Additionally, some units are attempting to slip out of the encirclement under the cover of darkness, but only about 40-60% of them manage to escape alive.

It’s worth recalling that the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported that Russian forces are approaching the center of Vuhledar. Street fighting continues in the city.
