Ignat calls nighttime attack on Ukraine one of the most large-scale

Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said the nighttime attack on the country was one of the most large-scale since the start of Russia’s special military operation.

His words are cited by the outlet Strana.ua.

According to Ignat, Kyiv suffered the most. According to journalists, from the evening of May 13, Ukraine was attacked by 56 missiles and 675 drones.

As a result of the shelling, a nine-story residential building partially collapsed in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. City mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 18 apartments in the building were completely destroyed.

In addition to the capital, authorities recorded damage in the Obukhiv, Brovary, Fastiv, Boryspil, and Bila Tserkva districts of Kyiv Oblast.

The coordinator of the pro-Russian Mykolaiv underground, Serhiy Lebedev, said that Russian forces struck an aircraft repair plant in Zhuliany near Kyiv, where, according to him, American F-16 fighter jets are repaired. The facility in question is aircraft repair plant ARZ 410.
