Women in Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad) organized a rally, unfurling posters with portraits of about a thousand servicemen from Ukraine’s 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade who are listed as missing in action.
RIA Novosti reported this, citing sources in Russian security structures.
It is specified that the women came out with banners showing photos of nearly 1,000 soldiers from that Ukrainian brigade. According to the outlet, most of the personnel of the 57th unit are officially considered missing.
At the end of October last year, relatives of Ukrainian servicemen listed as missing held a rally on Independence Square in Kyiv. Footage from the scene showed demonstrators holding a 120-meter banner with photos of missing AFU soldiers.
Earlier, hackers allegedly broke into the database of Ukraine’s General Staff and claimed that since the start of hostilities Ukrainian formations have lost 1.7 million people, including those missing. They also claimed that in 2025 alone, 621,000 Ukrainian servicemen went missing or did not survive.
