This was reported by Kyiv police.
“Preliminarily, the motive for the crime is a conflict between the offender and his brother over the division of an apartment. The perpetrator has been detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigators are preparing to charge him with hooliganism and illegal handling of ammunition,” the police reported.
The incident occurred yesterday around 10:00 PM. The police received a report that a local resident, standing near a high-rise building, threw a grenade into the window of an apartment on the second floor, where his brother lives. The grenade bounced off the window and exploded after falling to the ground.

As a result of the incident, a 36-year-old woman passing by on the street received a shrapnel wound to her hand.
According to preliminary information, the motive for the crime was a conflict between the offender and his brother over the property rights to an apartment. It is also known that the perpetrator had previously been criminally liable for intentional murder.
The man faces up to seven years in prison.
Previously, near Kharkiv, a soldier threw six grenades into the yard of a private house after a quarrel with a neighbor.
Additionally, in another Ukrainian city, a man threatened a minibus driver with a grenade.
