In Russia they suggested considering a nuclear strike in response to Washington’s decision

Russia should consider conducting a demonstrative single nuclear strike on waters near the coast of the United Kingdom and France in response to Ukraine being permitted to carry out long-range missile strikes on Russian territory.

This information reported according to Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the magazine “National Defense.”

Korotchenko described the situation in which the Ukrainian Armed Forces could launch mass strikes using British, French, and American-made cruise missiles on Russian territory as highly dangerous. He suggested that a demonstrative nuclear strike would convey Russia’s determination to the West if no measures are taken to stop such actions by Kyiv.

It was previously reported that U.S. President Joe Biden had, for the first time, authorized the use of long-range ATACMS missiles by Ukraine against targets in Russia.

Additionally, Le Figaro claimed that France and Britain have permitted Ukraine to use SCALP and Storm Shadow missiles for deep strikes into Russian territory.
