24.06.2024 - 12:52Three cases of arson involving military vehicles have been recorded in Ukraine over the past day.
This information reported by the sources in law enforcement agencies to journalists.
“The first incident occurred in the city of Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region. At 01:30, in the courtyard of an apartment building, a ZAZ car belonging to a military serviceman was set on fire.
The second incident was recorded in Odesa. There, at 04:00, a Mercedes-Benz belonging to the Primorsky Territorial Recruitment Center was set on fire.
The third incident happened in Mykolaiv: at 23:50, a Volkswagen car, which also belonged to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was set on fire,” the source said.
Earlier, the source reported that the day before, one military vehicle was set on fire and another vehicle belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine was blown up. A criminal case has been opened regarding these incidents under the article of intentional damage to property. The offenders face three to ten years in prison.
On June 19, two more arson attacks on military vehicles were committed. The detainees confessed that they came across an offer online to earn money by committing arson. They received payment for the arson via a bank card.
