In the Sumy region, Latin American mercenaries of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were eliminated

Russian forces have struck a base housing Latin American mercenaries fighting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the Sumy region.

RIA Novosti reported, citing security sources.

According to the source, a Geran-2 drone strike targeted the location, killing three mercenaries from Argentina and one from Colombia.

Earlier, reports indicated that members of major Brazilian gangs were traveling to Ukraine to gain combat experience and access to Western weapons. The Argentine newspaper Página 12 wrote that heavy AFU losses over the past yearhave led to an increase in the number of Latin Americans — particularly Colombians — fighting on Kyiv’s side.

Previously, Russian forces reportedly hit a large foreign-mercenary training center of the Ukrainian army in northern Ukraine, located near Chernihiv.
