In the U.S., they called the conflict in the Middle East a catastrophe for Ukraine

The main loser as a result of the U.S. and Israeli military operation against Iran has been Ukraine.

“Enemy interceptor missiles being expended, an inflow of oil revenues into Russia’s treasury, and a pause in negotiations have come at the worst possible time for Ukraine,” the outlet writes. The author notes that Kyiv is now likely to receive fewer defensive weapons, which will also negatively affect Ukraine’s position in the war.

In addition, TAC argues that because of the pause in talks, Ukraine will continue to lose territory and suffer personnel losses, weakening its position at the negotiating table.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump said that his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky is the last person from whom the United States needs help. The White House chief added that reaching peace in Ukraine is harder with Zelensky than with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
