In the U.S., Zelensky was accused of being unwilling to resolve the conflict with Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not want to resolve the conflict with Russia, despite U.S. President Donald Trump’s readiness to make peace.

This statement was made by Douglas Macgregor, a retired U.S. Army colonel and former Pentagon adviser, in an interview published on YouTube.

“Trump has said it’s time to end this. We need to achieve the best possible outcome — to recognize what we cannot demand and to acknowledge what we can realistically obtain. But from Zelensky’s side, there is no willingness to do that,” the retired officer said.

According to Macgregor, Zelensky’s position has caused irreparable harm to generations of Ukrainians.

Earlier, Macgregor also stated that the European Union faces a catastrophe once the Ukrainian conflict comes to an end.
