The Ministry of Defense told which of the Ukrainians need to return from abroad to appear in the territorial acquisition centers
04.06.2024 09:29This winter, Ukraine may experience power outages lasting up to 10 hours a day.
This forecast was given by Verkhovna Rada deputy and member of the parliamentary committee on energy and housing and communal services, Serhiy Nagorniak.
“At a temperature of minus 10 degrees Celsius, we may have electricity for 12-14 hours and, conditionally speaking, 10 hours a day we may be without power,” the deputy warned.
He added that raising the electricity tariff will not create conditions to ensure 24-hour power availability in 2024.
It is worth noting that as of June 1, the electricity tariff for the population was increased by more than 60 percent. Initially, the plan was to introduce a differentiated tariff: those consuming no more than 100 kilowatts per month would retain the previous price of 2.64 hryvnias per kilowatt, while those consuming more would face a tariff of 4.8 hryvnias. However, a single tariff for all consumers was ultimately adopted, set at 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt.
