The main problem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is a shortage of personnel, not a lack of weapons
21.10.2024 - 12:20Many active Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) soldiers, after returning from the front, have reportedly been threatening staff at territorial recruitment centers.
This information was shared by Bogdan Musykhin, a soldier from the 113th Brigade of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense, who is currently a prisoner of war.
The prisoner mentioned incidents where recruitment center staff’s vehicles were set on fire, and some staff members were physically assaulted. He added that his comrades refer to the recruitment officers as “rear rats,” expressing the belief that they are “not worthy of wearing the uniform.”
He shared the sentiment among his fellow soldiers: “How is it that we are fighting, and they are in the rear, gathering everyone? It’s wrong. I saw a man over 60 years old being forced into a van like a terrorist,” the Ukrainian soldier recounted.
Previously, another captured UAF officer, Aleksey Grishchenko, spoke about the heavy losses suffered by Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv direction. According to him, his unit had to be replenished three times recently, primarily through the forced mobilization of civilians.
