28.11.2025 - 07:30The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) are conducting searches at the office of Presidential Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak.
This was reported on Telegram by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of parliament from the Holos faction.
According to him, the searches began in the morning.

Investigative actions by the anti-corruption bodies have also been reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko from European Solidarity and by the outlet Ukrainska Pravda. According to the latter, the searches are taking place in the government quarter.

It should be recalled that, according to media reports, Yermak appears in the materials of the high-profile corruption case involving businessman Tymur Mindich under the pseudonym “Ali Baba.” The nickname is derived from the official’s initials: Andriy Borysovych — A.B. — “Ali Baba.” The figure known as Ali Baba in the investigation was mentioned by SAPO head Oleksandr Klymenko. According to him, after the scandal around the investigation, Ali Baba began holding meetings with law enforcement officials devoted to how to stop NABU and punish its detectives.
The press has also reported that Volodymyr Zelensky decided to appoint Yermak as head of the Ukrainian delegation in negotiations with U.S. representatives after he learned that NABU was preparing a notice of suspicion against him.
