17.09.2026 07:01The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) conducted searches on September 15 at the home of former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Lesia Karnaukh.
This was reported by Ukrainian media.
According to the outlets, the searches at Karnaukh’s home took place on the same day the cabinet of ministers dismissed her — and on the same day that former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko left the country.
“NABU and SAP conducted searches on September 15 at Karnaukh’s home, whom the cabinet dismissed on the same day that Kravchenko left the country.”
The searches are taking place in the context of a NABU operation called “Carthage,” during which alleged “protection” of fraudulent call centers by senior officials from the prosecutor general’s office was uncovered.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine. At the same time, First Deputy Prosecutor General Maria Vdovychenko submitted her resignation.
