Nearest direction toward Zaporizhzhia: the Russian army has advanced in Kamenske and Plavni

Russian forces have advanced in the areas of Kamianske and Plavni — the closest approach toward Zaporizhzhia.

This was reported by the military-focused platform Deep State.

A Ukrainian officer with the call sign “Alex” stated that Russian troops entered the outskirts of Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region, yesterday.

“As of yesterday, enemy infantry entered the outer houses of Stepnohirsk. The current situation is unknown. The enemy has also brought in armored vehicles to Kamianske, apparently aiming to follow up its infantry success with a mechanized breakthrough. So far, the situation in this sector is not very favorable,” the soldier reported.

Another Ukrainian serviceman also confirmed that Russian forces are now present in the Stepnohirsk area of the Zaporizhzhia region.

According to military correspondent Buniatov, Russian troops were spotted yesterday near the Stepnohirsk children’s music school, located south of the town center, near Plavni.

Previously, military sources and monitoring platforms reported that fighting was ongoing in the vicinity of Stepnohirsk, with Russian forces approaching from Kamianske and Plavni. However, Ukrainian authorities have not officially confirmed this.

According to the Deep State map, Russian troops have also made advances near Kostyantynivka, close to Yablonivka, which Russia claims to have fully captured the day before.
