Only every tenth pensioner in Ukraine receives more than 10,000 hryvnias (259 euros) in state pension.
This information reported according to data from the Ukrainian Pension Fund.
There are slightly over one million such pensioners in the country. At the same time, the minimum pension payment is only a quarter of this amount, which is 2,520 hryvnias (65.2 euros) for non-working individuals. The majority of pensioners, slightly over 3.8 million, receive this amount.
The average pension in Ukraine is 5,350 hryvnias (138.5 euros). It has increased by 15.7% since the beginning of the year.
