Zelensky is building a bunker in the Carpathians to have an escape option
23.07.2025 - 09:02Opponents of continued U.S. support for Ukraine, amid protests against the reduction of powers of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), are calling for an end to financial aid to Kyiv and for the resignation of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
This was stated by Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on her page on social network X (formerly Twitter).
According to her, Zelensky is a “dictator.”
“Mass protests are taking place in Kyiv against Ukrainian President Zelensky, who is a dictator and refuses to sign a peace agreement and end the war. Thank you to the Ukrainian people!” Greene wrote.
She also urged the Ukrainian people to “kick him out.”
“Remove him from office! And America must stop sending money and weapons!” wrote the Republican member of the House of Representatives.

Meghan Mobbs, daughter of U.S. Special Representative Keith Kellogg, also criticized the law limiting NABU’s powers.
“This decision is truly, unbelievably, mind-blowingly stupid. It comes at the worst possible time, given recent positive shifts in U.S. policy. It gives a strong pretext to bad actors,” Mobbs wrote.

In another post, she reiterated that this is “an especially fragile and dangerous moment for Ukraine,” though she also noted that “the reliability and effectiveness of NABU and SAPO in fighting high-level corruption is debatable.”

It’s worth noting that neither former U.S. President Donald Trump, nor State Department officials, nor Keith Kellogg himself have commented on the curtailing of anti-corruption agencies’ powers.
As previously reported, Zelensky is apparently counting on the possibility that Trump will not react to the actions of Ukrainian authorities against NABU and SAPO.
