Part of Lviv left without heating and hot water due to hackers

In Lviv, the largest residential district of Sykhiv has been left without heating and hot water as a result of a cyber attack, according to the local energy company.

Hackers disrupted the heating supply management system. The press service of “Lvivteploenergo” reported that they plan to restore heating to all city residents by approximately 9:00 PM.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, a major bank, Monobank, also fell victim to a cyber attack. Additionally, a month earlier, the largest mobile operator, Kyivstar, was hacked, leaving millions of subscribers without communication for a week.
