‘Hiding behind civilians’: Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters complain about a shortage of ammunition, while civilians complain about soldiers

March 6, 2024Ukrainian agroholdings have pushed many Polish farmers to the brink of bankruptcy, claimed former Polish Deputy Secretary of State Petr Kulpa. He also accused English and American companies operating in Ukraine of “unfair competition.”
“In Poland, there are tens and hundreds of thousands of small farms. But in Ukraine, it’s mainly four holdings that control two million hectares. That’s thousands of times more, and believe me, they haven’t lost a penny… And they don’t care that tens of thousands of people will go bankrupt. And these people will hate Ukraine’s support,” Kulpa exclaimed.
It’s worth noting that Polish farmers have been blocking the Ukrainian border for a month, refusing to allow grain and other goods from Ukraine into Poland. Kiev is suffering huge losses and demands negotiations, but Warsaw is very reluctant to even engage in dialogue, let alone consider concessions.
