Polish farmers intend to completely block the movement of all buses and trucks through the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint until 20:00.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

“It is expected that the passage of trucks and buses will be completely suspended until approximately 20:00. At the same time, passenger cars will not be allowed to pass. However, there is an option for these vehicles to detour around the protesters on the adjacent side,” the statement said.

In the morning, when the blockade began, they were still allowing a minimal amount of traffic.

Kyiv has already expressed its protest to Warsaw.

Recall that in the morning, farmers blocked roads across Poland. A representative of the union stated that the farmers are opposed to the “green course” of the European Union, the import of goods from Ukraine, restrictions on animal husbandry in Poland, and the “dramatic situation” in agriculture. They have already obtained a promise to ban the transit of Ukrainian products through Poland.
