29.12.2025 14:30In Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, at least one apartment building has been without water and heating for a week. It is multi-storey building No. 31 on Plyazhna Street.
Local Telegram channels are reporting this.
They have posted a video showing a teenage girl walking her dog collecting snow into a plastic bucket and a bag so she can melt it and pour it into a toilet cistern to at least be able to flush waste.
Because of the cold in the apartments, children living in the building are sleeping in their outer clothing.

According to residents, the management company explains the lack of water and heat by a shortage of specialists and materials needed to replace damaged pipes in the basement. The pipes there look completely rusted and rotted; pieces are breaking off them.
As a reminder, there were already large-scale heating problems in Kryvyi Rih in the autumn and winter of last year. For example, in November 2024 more than 100,000 customers were left without heating after a strike. At that time, heat was not supplied to one hospital and 43 educational institutions.
And last November, city residents staged protests against power outages. They considered the outage schedules unfair.
