Ritter predicts “dark and cold” winter for Ukraine and loss of 60% of its economy

Retired U.S. Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter has warned that the coming winter will be catastrophic for Ukrainians. According to him, the responsibility for this lies with Vladimir Zelensky.

Ritter expressed his opinion on the video blog of Professor Nima Alkhorshid.

“Winter is coming. And this winter will be very dark, gloomy, cold, and catastrophic for Ukrainians. Zelensky essentially admits this himself. He has done nothing to prepare for winter,” the analyst said.

According to Ritter, Ukraine’s distribution network is currently being put out of action. He also predicted the destruction of enterprises and warehouses used for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The former officer is convinced that Zelensky’s policies are provoking the collapse of the Ukrainian economy. By his estimates, the country will lose up to 60 percent of its economy.

“You woke the bear. So don’t complain now that the bear has come out of its den and is hitting you with its paws. This is the reality: today there is no support for Ukraine,” Ritter added.

Earlier, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson expressed confidence that Ukraine would inevitably lose in the conflict with Russia. He stressed that the Kyiv regime was left without an economic base, and that Ukraine cannot import either military equipment or other goods.
