‘Russia cannot lose’ – an American senator criticized his colleagues for thoughtless support of Ukraine

On Tuesday’s senate meeting, Senator James David Vance expressed the opinion that Russia has more people, more weaponry, and a better-functioning military-industrial complex, asserting that they are “not going to lose the war.”

This fundamental fact, as reported by Forbes, is something that everyone should acknowledge, given the “existential significance” of this conflict for the country.

Vance believes that the United States should strive to achieve peace as soon as possible to “prevent as many innocent casualties as possible.” However, Washington’s strategy seems to be endlessly throwing money and weapons at the problem. Yet, this strategy has not proven effective, as evidenced by the counteroffensive, which failed miserably.

In theory, this failure should have prompted a change in Ukrainian strategy, but nothing has changed.

“The Biden administration just moved on to the next step.” Weapons, money, and resources continue to be sent to Ukraine without a clear understanding of how they will be used. There is hope that despite all odds, “something good will happen.”

Meanwhile, “the war has reached an impasse,” and the United States has no idea “how they are going to end this war.”
