Russia employs new tactic in nighttime attack on Ukraine: strikes concentrated on a limited number of targets

During a nighttime missile and drone attack on Ukraine, Russian forces used a new tactic — a large number of cruise missiles were directed at a limited number of targets, no more than three, instead of distributing strikes across many objects.

This was reported by monitoring Telegram channels.

According to the same sources, ballistic missiles were also directed at several targets. At the same time, the number of drones launched was relatively small compared to the scale of previous attacks.

Monitoring resources suggest that such a tactic may indicate that Russia is preparing a massive drone strike on the western regions of Ukraine.

Ukrainian authorities stated that the attack struck energy facilities and commercial warehouses. The Russian side, in turn, claims that the targets were facilities belonging to the defense company Fire Point in various regions of Ukraine.

Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Yuriy Cherevashenko stated that mass deliveries of jet interceptor drones to the Ukrainian army are not expected until the end of November. At the same time, Russian jet drones may become even faster in the near future, reaching speeds of 800–900 km/h.
