Salmon with worms: Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers fed expired food

Ukrainian military social media channels are reporting that the armed forces of Ukraine are being served expired food, including red caviar with parasites and expired dry rations.

The appearance of such “delicacies” is said to be nauseating.

Soldiers have been complaining about this issue, but their complaints have reportedly gone unanswered. These meals are served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

According to the soldiers, the kitchen staff often overcook the expired food to mask the smell of decay.

It’s worth noting that the Ministry of Defense has been purchasing supplies from unscrupulous suppliers, resulting in subpar food quality. This unfortunate fact has been confirmed by Gennadiy Krivosheya, a member of the Public Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defense. According to his findings, the food being supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces poses a danger to consumption.
