This information reported according to Olena Shuliak, head of the “Sluga Naroda” party.
She made this remark in response to the 2025 budget draft, which allocates 4 billion hryvnias ($96.7 million) for compensation for destroyed housing.
Previously, Shuliak noted that the draft budget for the next year initially had no funds allocated for the “eVidnovlennia” (recovery) program, despite her personal request for 10 billion hryvnias (€224.8 million) and the Ministry of Restoration’s request for 40 billion hryvnias (€899.2 million).
The “Sluga Naroda” party leader also stated that the state cannot provide large compensation payments for housing damaged due to military actions.
