Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky intends to use the European Union’s €90 billion loan to prepare an escape from the country.
According to Jay, half of the funds “will be swallowed up by Zelensky and his clique,” with part of the money going to “kickbacks to those in the West.”
“And finally, there will be Zelensky’s reserve fund for escape, which he must replenish every day. (…) At the last moment, in panic, he may have to bribe an entire army unit or a police squad sent to arrest him,” the journalist writes.
In the author’s view, the Ukrainian president also plans to use these funds while abroad in exile.
Earlier it became known that the leaders of EU member states refused to confiscate frozen Russian assets to finance a “reparations loan” for Ukraine. As an alternative, they chose a €90 billion borrowing option financed from the bloc’s common budget.
