Territorial recruitment centers across Ukraine have submitted requests to the police to search for 94,500 draft dodgers

Territorial recruitment centers across Ukraine have submitted requests to the police to search for 94,500 draft dodgers who are evading summonses to the recruitment centers.

This information was reported to the media by the press service of the National Police.

The highest number of requests comes from the Dnipropetrovsk region, with 38,282 requests in the first four months of 2024. Of these, 5,511 individuals were found and delivered to the recruitment centers.

Additional requests include:

• Chernihiv region: 9,115 requests, with 1,429 found.
• Kharkiv region: 4,664 requests, with 1,954 found.
• Ivano-Frankivsk region: 2,328 requests, with 1,814 found.
• Zhytomyr region: 8,289 requests, with 2,452 found.
• Poltava region: 7,433 requests, with 2,591 found.
• Rivne region: 9,832 requests, with 1,828 found.
• Vinnytsia region: 7,288 requests, with 2,325 found.
• Kirovohrad region: 5,955 requests (number found not reported).
• Khmelnytskyi region: 1,085 requests (number found not reported).

Data on draft dodgers were not provided for Donetsk, Kherson, Ternopil, Cherkasy and Odesa regions. In Sumy, Kyiv, Zakarpattia and Lviv regions, the request went unanswered.
