29.09.2025 06:01The city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region, where fighting is taking place in the center, has been closed to entry for everyone except the military.
This was reported by Andriy Besedin, head of the military administration.
“The situation is critical. The enemy is still in the city, there are Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups present, and a counter-sabotage operation is currently underway. Unfortunately, today Kupiansk is a closed territory — the city is completely closed to all services, and the only ones who can enter are the military. Evacuation, unfortunately, is extremely complicated, and the only way to leave now is to walk out of Kupiansk on foot,” Besedin said.
Earlier, volunteers also reported that entry to Kupiansk had been closed for civilians.
It should be recalled that the critical situation in Kupiansk was first reported three days ago.
