November 7, 2023The blockade by Polish carriers at the Yagodyn-Dorohusk border crossing on the Ukraine-Poland border will continue until December 3.
This information reported according to a warning issued by the Ukrainian customs service.
It is reported that the blocking of freight traffic in the direction of the border crossings “Yagodyn-Dorohusk,” “Krakovets-Korchova,” and “Rava-Russka-Khrebeni” began today.
“Yagodyn”: The Polish side reports that the protesters will allow the passage of one vehicle in both directions for an hour. Passage will also be granted to buses, vehicles carrying humanitarian aid, perishable goods, live animals, and hazardous cargo (fuel tankers) in both directions.
“Rava-Russka”: The blockage of freight traffic is occurring before entering the freight direction. Movement is partially blocked for vehicles entering Ukraine from the Republic of Poland.
“Krakovets”: Around 10 freight trucks have blocked access to the freight direction. There are currently no significant queues of trucks, and passenger cars are entering the Korchova border crossing without hindrance.
To recap, this morning, as announced, Polish carriers blocked the movement of freight trucks at the Ukraine-Poland border. Both inbound and outbound traffic is affected, with protesters allowing one vehicle per hour for export and import purposes.
