The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has ordered the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to ensure that Member of Parliament Nestor Shufrych is able to perform his parliamentary duties.
This was stated in the court’s ruling, a document shared on Telegram by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
It is worth noting that Nestor Shufrych remains in pre-trial detention on charges of treason.
Shufrych denies the accusations, calling the case politically motivated.
Following his arrest, Shufrych was removed from his position as head of the parliamentary committee on freedom of speech.
