October 6, 2023Former Presidential Office advisor Alexey Arestovich has referred to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexey Danilov, as a “puppet” and called for an investigation into how he earned his living in the 1990s.
This statement was made during an interview with Alexey Arestovich and Yulia Latynina on October 5.
Arestovich stated that the current President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, came to power promising to build a free and open democratic society where “people do not attack each other, and everyone is engaged in the country’s development.”
“After all, you can love Ukraine and speak Ukrainian without attacking others,” he said.
The former presidential advisor argued that the essence of the war in Ukraine has not changed; it is a war for freedom and rights against those who suppress freedom and rights. However, in his opinion, Ukrainians have failed in this regard because they “got scared of loudly screaming baboons.”
“So when our chauvinistic baboons try to beat their fellow countrymen with sticks for not behaving the way they like, it’s not about freedom. They only differ from Putin by the color of the flag, nothing more,” he said.
Arestovich also claimed that the head of the state has started “flirting with supporters of chauvinism.”
“And this puppet Danilov, about whom we still need to find out what he was doing in Luhansk and where he got his nickname Ball from. I think journalists should conduct an investigation into how and on what he made a living in that group in the 1990s. Because people remember everything; people know. He elevated this to the level of state policy, allowing himself certain statements,” Arestovich said.
It’s worth noting that on May 11, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov criticized Alexey Arestovich’s position regarding the Russian language, stating that he “doesn’t know what the Security Service of Ukraine is looking at.”
