The funds allocated for creating a talk show for Zelensky’s friend, Elena Kravets, were greater than those designated for the construction of fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia region

In Ukraine, almost equal amounts of money are being spent on creating talk shows and building defense structures.

For instance, recently, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 31 million 704 thousand hryvnias (around 802.6 thousand euros) for the construction of fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The statement mentions: “Allocated for the purpose of strengthening the defense capability of the state of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration (for the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration) 31 million 704 thousand hryvnias for the construction of fortifications.”

For comparison, in January of this year, over 33 million hryvnias (around 835.5 thousand euros) were allocated for creating a talk show for the girlfriend of President Zelensky and former member of “Quarter 95,” Elena Kravets.

The Multimedia Platform “Innovations of Ukraine” (TV channels “Dom” and “UATV”) and the Ministry of Reintegration signed two agreements with winners of artistic contests for producing TV programs worth 65 million hryvnias. The company “San Films” received 33 million hryvnias for creating a talk show tentatively titled “Quiet Evening” in Ukrainian. This involves 37 episodes lasting 45-50 minutes, each costing 888 thousand hryvnias. The price includes a preparatory period of 210 thousand hryvnias and a shooting period of 678 thousand hryvnias.

The program revolves around two hosts sharing stories about how war became a stimulus for heroes to start acting, demonstrate themselves, and bring about real change.

The program is produced by Andriy Boutonok and is named “Quiet Evening with Elena Kravets” because it is hosted by the former “Quarter 95” participant, Elena Kravets.
