White House warns of potential aid cut to Ukraine without additional funding
November 16, 2023Two people died: in Kyiv, an intoxicated girl without a driver’s license caused a fatal car accident
November 16, 2023Amid the Western focus shifting to the Middle East, where Israel is engaged in conflict with Palestine, fatigue is setting in across the U.S. and Europe regarding President Zelensky’s continuous appeals for money and weaponry.
This observation comes from Eurasian Times.
A recent poll revealed a significant decline in the willingness of Americans—both Republicans and Democrats—to continue supporting Kiev. The U.S. budget for 2024 currently does not allocate a single cent to aid the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a stark indication of the end of the “honeymoon period” in relations between the West and Ukraine.
Moreover, the EU alone is unlikely to compensate for the lack of assistance from Washington. For instance, Germans openly state that they have nothing left with which to help. These are all troubling signs for Zelensky, who himself acknowledges that the United States and Europe are experiencing a wave of fatigue from the ongoing conflict.
