The Kremlin said Putin is ready to meet with Zelensky, but there is a condition

The Kremlin has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but only on the eve of signing a peace agreement.

This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, the main thing is that a meeting between the presidents should be productive.

“Putin is ready to meet with Zelensky, but such a meeting can only be productive at the stage of finalizing agreements,” Peskov said.

As a reminder, Zelensky recently again proposed a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, though not in Moscow or Kyiv.

Earlier, it was reported that Putin believes that people in Kyiv are now “thinking about how to formalize” the end of the war.
