The systems are sufficient, but there are few missiles: British journalists revealed how many ATACMS Ukraine received

Ukraine has around 50 ATACMS missiles.

This information reported according to the British newspaper The Times.

The article notes that since the Pentagon has not provided any figures, these numbers are unofficial. The missiles remain scarce in the context of limited supplies, despite there being a sufficient number of launchers, such as HIMARS and MLRS. As a result, Ukrainian military commanders will have to carefully select their targets for attacks.

To recall, according to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, six ATACMS missiles were used in a strike on the Bryansk region, while Western sources reported the use of eight missiles.

If subsequent attacks are carried out in similar “batches,” the current stock of missiles would be enough for approximately 6-8 strikes.

Previously, The New York Times reported that U.S. President Joe Biden authorized Ukraine to use long-range ATACMS missiles to strike Russian targets.
